Preview the possible Grey’s spinoff…

leave a comment »

TV Addict has some pictures up from the upcoming two-part Grey’s Anatomy episode.

Honestly, it has a much different look than I expected……I’m not as confident that it will work as well as Grey’s has, but I think it’s a pretty sure bet that it will at least get a few lookers from Grey’s to follow it.

Check out the pictures via the link below and see what you think…..Will Addison make it on her own?

Prison Break- “Fin Del Camino” Recap

leave a comment »

So this episode was again particularly satisfying.  Things are shaping up for a decent finale.

Bellick, Michael and Sucre team up, all with different motives, to try and catch T-Bag, only to be swindled into a trap.  I thought it was a nifty set up that T-Bag pulled off, but they sure didn’t seem too concerned about the cops barging in on them.  And Bellick winds up with a bullet in his leg, preventing him from getting away.  Apparently the Panamanian police didn’t see the group of fugitives leaving the crime scene.

Alas, Bellick is behind bars again…only this time in a Panama prison.

T-Bag didn’t slip away for long, and ends up in a showdown with Michael.  There were plenty of great T-Bag quotes that I found funny…..the quip about getting his legs tattooed was up there with the Sawyer line about Nikki in Lost.

Linc manages to get beat by Mahone, leaving an interesting setup for the final episode of Season 2.  It’ll be interesting to see if Mahone makes a break for it in Michael’s boat or not.  I was glad that they set up Mahone as still caring about his family back home.  He really is a good character, no matter how bad he has turned out.

I also almost forgot about Kellerman….I’m surprised he didn’t bite the bullet, literally, this time around.  I think his fate is sealed, considering he’s making his way to the Grey’s spinoff.  I’m glad to see he is helping Sara out by testifying to her claims about the conspiracy….If he follows through with it…..That’s another question.

Grey’s Anatomy Spinoff Updates

leave a comment »

So apparently it’s the week where everybody decides they want in on the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff.Wasn’t it just like a week ago they were talking about Taye Diggs being on it….. Now there’s a boatload of people aboard the project.

I don’t know about everyone else who watched Prison Break, but I think his casting in this pilot seals his fate as Kellerman.  Just a guess…I have no confirmation of that.

Somehow, I think this show will be doing just fine……it’s too bad they’ve decide to go the CSI route with it.  Hopefully this is the one and only spinoff it gets.

Thursday Night TV Preview

leave a comment »

So tonight, not much going on, since we’re in repeat season….

Survivor: Fiji– Tonight looks to begin the crumbling of Moto, and after all their domination and thinking they’re better than everyone, I think they’ve had it coming.  Ravu is probably on the rebound, and I’m glad.  There’s also that looming showdown between Rocky and Dreamz, and that’s probably what I’m looking forward to most.  Someone needs to make Dreamz realize what game he’s playing…and that he needs to just shut his mouth every once in a while.

Repeats for The Office and Grey’s….Sadness.  Heroes has gone on break too……Man, the shows start dropping like flies come March…..

Thursday TV Preview

leave a comment »

There’s not as much good TV on tonight as there usually is for Thursday.  May give me the opportunity to watch a show I don’t usually get to.

Survivor: Fiji– If memory serves, tonight Gary AKA “Papa Smurf” (awesome that Jeff calls him that!) gets another visit from medical…I sense he may leave before this season is over, but maybe he can pull through, cause he’s just cool.  Also, Anthony is supposedly going to “take a beating”, but I’m guessing it’s going to be a more mental thing than anything…after he couldn’t eat that pig snout last week, then made excuses about having no spit, I think his team may hit him hard on that one.  Should start picking up in drama….for sure.

Grey’s is a repeat, as well as The Office… I may try to catch 30 Rock even though I’ll have no idea what’s going on…..There’s also a possible Tivo hunt on the schedule….see if I can come up with anything good.

How I already miss sweeps….::sigh::

Why Grey’s Should All Just be Friends

leave a comment »

So now that the whole Isaiah Washington fiasco has finally died down over on the set of Grey’s Anatomy, now there’s a whole new feud starting.

Apparently there’s a bunch of squabbling over who’s better than who, now that Kate Walsh, who plays Addison, is getting her own possible spinoff. Ellen Pompeo, the lead character of Grey’s, thinks she should have been told before they went ahead with the plans, and now Katherine Heigl has stopped contract negotiations because she thinks she worth just as much, if not more, than Isaiah or Sandra Oh.

This is pretty ridiculous. Why can’t they all just do like the cast of Friends, and negotiate as a group? There are just about the same number of them as there are on Friends. It would put an end to at least some of the nonsense that’s going on behind the scenes of this great show!

Grey’s Anatomy 3.17 -”Some Kind of Miracle”

with 2 comments

So this was the final chapter of the last three episodes.  It continued off the “afterlife” experience we saw at the end of the last episode.  I couldn’t really figure out what it symbolized overall, but by the end of it, when she was walking away, and her mom came toward her, I kind of saw the symoblism I suppose.

It’s really odd to see Denny walking around and being normal, because I think every time we saw him last season he was laying down or in a hospital bed.

There’s clearly something developing between the Jane Doe and Karev….we’ll see where that leads.  I was also glad Cristina decided to come back, though she did sober up awfully quickly.

It was a touching scene to see Derek waiting for Meredith to wake up….

Izzie was kind of annoying, and I thought she was acting kind of stupid toward George and especially Callie….she should have backed off of her, but no…just what this show needs….more drama.  I don’t think she thinks a lot before she speaks.

It’ll be interesting to see where this season ends up, as Addison preps to check-out of Seattle Grace….what?  Haven’t you heard the news?

Thursday Look-Ahead

leave a comment »

I know it’s early, but Thursday is one of my two top nights for TV, and here’s a look at what’s on and what you should be watching.

The Office-“Cocktails” Michael and Jan go public with their romance….That’s the extent I know because I’m avoiding spoilers at all costs.  I just hope Jim and Pam have a hint of conversation….all I ask for is a little hint of Jam…it’s slowly building up to most likely yet another season-ending cliffhanger.  Let’s hope they get it right this time!

Survivor- Easily my favorite of the past few seasons so far….I have the feeling someone from the high and might Moto tribe gets really sick by the looks of it.

Grey’s Anatomy– The conclusion of the three-part arc that will answer whether Meredith lives or dies….Her life currently hangs in the balance, but somehow I think she’s safe….possibly a shocker death in store that we don’t know about?!  Who knows….I know I’m watching though.

Dr. Addison getting a spinoff?

leave a comment »

I just read an interesting story, that if true, is actually disappointing. If so, it appears Grey’s Anatomy is taking the CSI trail, and splitting off into an unnecessary spinoff with Addison getting the lead.

I didn’t like it when they did it with CSI….I don’t think I’d like it if they did it to Grey’s.
