So I’m glad to have another addition to my TV schedule….Drive rocks!
Drive-“Let the Games Begin”– The preview yesterday went really fast, but I went ahead and took a look at the episode summary via Meevee.
“Legal trouble separates Alex from Corinna; John and Violet try to keep their participation a secret from loved ones; Wendy gets used to a new partner; and Winston attracts unwanted attention.”
I’m still getting all the names straight, but I think I remember seeing some sort of showdown between the military guy and the girl that was on the hitlist last night….I think….Either way, should be another great hour of television.
24-11:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m.- I stayed away from the preview last week because they always seem to reveal so much…but, they do tend to trick me a lot…..I’m guessing something happens when Jack tries to tell CTU he’s going after Audrey…..What is in store for this final set of episodes? They’ve definitely majorly switched over now that all the nukes have been found.
Here’s what I’ll be watching tonight.
Survivor: Fiji-“Are We Gonna Live on Exile Island”– I think that about sums it up. Tonight has the appearance of a merge, judging by all the new colored buffs the survivors are wearing in the promos. I’m still rooting for Earl and Yau Man….we’ll see how the shakeup, if it happens, affects the two separate tribes.
The Office-“Safety Training”-We’ll find out the true dangers of the workplace in this installment. I’m sensing some developments that may lead to the final arcs of the season. I’ll be glad if Jim and Pam say one nice thing to each other tonight. No more Roy after last week’s firing, so that’s a start. I have high hopes…and the return of Andy should be interesting. Seems like he’s be gone forever….and that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Grey’s Anatomy-“Every Moment Counts”-Now that I just remembered that this is a clip show, I may scavenge for another show to take its place for the evening. Scrubs or 30 Rock perhaps? I think those show up in that time slot…..
Tonight, life without Prison Break starts for a few months…In it’s place is some B-Grade television……
Falcon Beach-“After the Fall”-Considering I think I missed the last couple episodes of the first season, I’m not sure if they set up tonight’s events or not. Apparently, the evil Bradshaw family (well, half of them at least) begin a takeover of the Tanner residence. Also, Danny and Erin are apparently already having a kid….possibly. Hopefully this keeps me as entertained as last summer…
24– 10 p.m. – 11 p.m.– I’m going to avoid a write-up on this one, and just go with the description from Meevee.
President Palmer makes a bold gambit, and Jack changes his strategy about Fayed.
I watched the preview
which gave away too much last week, and I’m thinking tonight I’ll mute and turn away as soon as the show ends.
Thank God You’re Here- Pilot– Hosted by David Alan Grier, this show actually piqued my interest a little bit. It’s been awhile since there was a challenge towards the likes of Whose Line is it Anyway?…..I saw a clip of the Jason Alexander skit, and it had a couple of good laughs. I’m particularly interested to see it because most of the people don’t have improv experience….and also, Angela from The Office will appear on the show at some point.
That’s all tonight…..A mere 2 weeks until Heroes returns……phew!
Here’s what’s going on tonight…
Lost- “Left Behind”– This week is Kate-centric, and there looks to be a throwdown between Juliet and Kate in the jungle….Kate apparently confronts Juliet after being deserted/betrayed by one of her own. Sawyer is also on the verge of being banished, which I highly doubt will happen.
I’m looking forward to a nice rebound episode, considering last week was all about Nikki and Paolo. I’m thinking about starting a list of Sawyer nicknames….those are the highlights for me….
Friday Night Lights- “Best Laid Plans”- This show has vaulted up into my current favorites….Tonight Coach Taylor mulls over accepting the job at TMU. I also read Jason moves into a new apartment, and apparently Tyra has a shocking secret….does it have anything to do with Landry? or is this something I haven’t seen since I’m still catching up as we go here?
We’ll see…..either way, I’m excited for some good television.
