Heroes 1.20- “Five Years Gone” Preview

leave a comment »

TV Addict is previewing next week’s Heroes, which will be a flashfoward 5 years into the future (where Hiro and Ando are right now).

I’m staying away from the previews, but if you feel the urge, head on over.  They’ll be posting the opening scene from the episode, and already have a clip that apparently shows future-Hiro confronting HRG.

This should be good!

Heroes Mini Recaplet

with one comment

So I just finished up the return episode of Heroes….

I know I’m going to have to rewatch, because they went through a bunch of information, and 7 weeks gone from my schedule has left my memory a little rusty.

Still…it’s good to have Heroes back…..Next week’s episode looks particularly stunning….Do you agree?

Monday TV Outlook

leave a comment »

So the big news tonight is the return of Heroes.  After what’s seemed to be an eternity (well, 7 weeks anyway) we finally start the final chapter of Season 1…..

Drive-“No Turning Back”- You know, I still don’t easily recognize all the names of the racers yet, so I’ll stick to the description posted at Meevee.  All I know is Tully has a sweet ride starting this week.

“Corinna is skeptical of an offer that may give her and Alex an advantage; Susan and Leigh weigh their options after Ivy’s actions; Wendy worries about her baby; Rob gets shocking news; and a driver is removed from the race.”

24-“12:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.”-At the end of last week, we were left watching Jack leave Doyle on the side of the highway as he went after Audrey….My gut is telling me that people over at CTU won’t be too happy about this….We’ll see.  I’ve once again successfully avoided the previews…

Heroes-“.07%”- Sylar confronts Peter, and possibly others, in his continued rampage on all the people with abilities.  Also, Nathan and Linderman will be discussing some decisions….Thompson is on the hunt for Claire…..and Hiro renews his vow to “save the world”….This is gonna be good!

This is the first time in weeks that both the Tivo and VCR will be fired up folks…..Get excited!

A look at the next chapter of Heroes

TV Addict has a preview up for Chapter 19 in the Heroes saga, which returns on April 23rd.

I’m staying away for risk of spoilers within, but if you’re up for it, follow the links.  All I know is Heroes is tops on my list of “Most Awaited TV Shows to return from 7-week long hiatuses”.

More Heroes Scoop

So there’s two new clips up that are previewing the upcoming episodes….I hear that they have spoilers, probably about Linderman’s power.

I’m heeding the warnings and staying away from the videos so I can go in spoiler-free…..I’ve posted the link below for any of you who feel the need to go ahead and indulge…

Please refrain from any spoilerish comments if you do view them. Enjoy!

Get your Heroes fix until April 23rd

leave a comment »

I caught this yesterday, and never managed to get a post up. NBC.com has made all 18 previously-aired episodes of Heroes available for viewing online at their web site.

Honestly, if you haven’t gotten into Heroes yet, I urge you to go to the site and catch up. It’s easily one of, if not the best, series on television right now….And I’m not just saying this because I’m a huge fan….Aside from the fact it’s about people with abilities, the acting, filming, storytelling and everything about the show are top notch!

Once you get started, it’s easy to get hooked, and if you’re a cliffhanger junkie like me, you’ll love some of the ones they pull off in Heroes.

Go check it out!

Linderman in Entertainment Weekly

leave a comment »

There’s an interview with Malcolm McDowell, AKA Linderman in Heroes, that I just read in this week’s Entertainment Weekly.

There’s very little spoiler material as far as I’m concerned…just hints of what’s to come in the newly referred to “Volume 2”

Don’t read ahead if you want to avoid spoilers.

::SPOILER ALERT::

-We will find out what Sylar does with the brains of all those people he has killed.  Does he eat them?  I’d really hope that answer is no.  Who knows…maybe he scrambles them a little bit and then chews ’em up.

-Linderman may have some sort of manipulative power…as in a Hero-ish power….interesting.

-Linderman plays into the scheme of everything going on….I mean EVERYTHING!

::END SPOILER::

It’ll be great to see how this plays out….Man, I wish this show never had to go on breaks!

Thursday Night TV Preview

leave a comment »

So tonight, not much going on, since we’re in repeat season….

Survivor: Fiji– Tonight looks to begin the crumbling of Moto, and after all their domination and thinking they’re better than everyone, I think they’ve had it coming.  Ravu is probably on the rebound, and I’m glad.  There’s also that looming showdown between Rocky and Dreamz, and that’s probably what I’m looking forward to most.  Someone needs to make Dreamz realize what game he’s playing…and that he needs to just shut his mouth every once in a while.

Repeats for The Office and Grey’s….Sadness.  Heroes has gone on break too……Man, the shows start dropping like flies come March…..
