So the big news tonight is the return of Heroes. After what’s seemed to be an eternity (well, 7 weeks anyway) we finally start the final chapter of Season 1…..
Drive-“No Turning Back”- You know, I still don’t easily recognize all the names of the racers yet, so I’ll stick to the description posted at Meevee. All I know is Tully has a sweet ride starting this week.
“Corinna is skeptical of an offer that may give her and Alex an advantage; Susan and Leigh weigh their options after Ivy’s actions; Wendy worries about her baby; Rob gets shocking news; and a driver is removed from the race.”
24-“12:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.”-At the end of last week, we were left watching Jack leave Doyle on the side of the highway as he went after Audrey….My gut is telling me that people over at CTU won’t be too happy about this….We’ll see. I’ve once again successfully avoided the previews…
Heroes-“.07%”- Sylar confronts Peter, and possibly others, in his continued rampage on all the people with abilities. Also, Nathan and Linderman will be discussing some decisions….Thompson is on the hunt for Claire…..and Hiro renews his vow to “save the world”….This is gonna be good!
This is the first time in weeks that both the Tivo and VCR will be fired up folks…..Get excited!
So I’m glad to have another addition to my TV schedule….Drive rocks!
Drive-“Let the Games Begin”– The preview yesterday went really fast, but I went ahead and took a look at the episode summary via Meevee.
“Legal trouble separates Alex from Corinna; John and Violet try to keep their participation a secret from loved ones; Wendy gets used to a new partner; and Winston attracts unwanted attention.”
I’m still getting all the names straight, but I think I remember seeing some sort of showdown between the military guy and the girl that was on the hitlist last night….I think….Either way, should be another great hour of television.
24-11:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m.- I stayed away from the preview last week because they always seem to reveal so much…but, they do tend to trick me a lot…..I’m guessing something happens when Jack tries to tell CTU he’s going after Audrey…..What is in store for this final set of episodes? They’ve definitely majorly switched over now that all the nukes have been found.
In the final minutes of last week’s episode, Jack and Gredenko have a stare off as Gredenko says his demands. Wayne Palmer finally does something presidential and stops Vice President Daniels from launching a nuclear attack against Fayed’s native country. Oh and who could forget that kiss between Milo and Nadia, talk about action.
This weeks episode delivered much of the same action/suspense as previous seasons have. In fact, for those who have seen season 2, doesn’t the whole VP invoking the 25th sound a little bit familiar? So, in a nutshell this is what happened last night:
- Milo and Nadia are going to forget about Nadia being accused of being a traitor but not about the kiss
- Turns out Doyle may not be a complete jerk since he corrected Milo’s computer log, so that no one would know Milo was accidentally responsible for the leak
- Jack made the immunity deal happen but do to the situation in Washington did not have to honor it and said he wouldn’t.
- Gredenko was injected with an isotope in his arm so that CTU could track him when he meet with Fayed. Only problem was he was willing to chop off his arm in order to escape with Fayed, which resulted in Fayed getting beat up by a bunch of drunks in a bar and Gredenko passing out and “dying” on beach somewhere.
- Back to Washington, the Cabinet vote was 7/7 meaning that Palmer was still in power since it was not a majority. However, Daniels argued that Karen Hayes’ vote did not count since she had to resigned earlier in the day. The decision was going to be left up to the Supreme Court when Lennox blackmailed Daniels into with drawling his objection.
- So, we think all is good with the President finally until we see him forcing the doctor shoot him up with adrenaline. THEN… THE PRESIDENT ORDERS THE GO AHEAD WITH THE NUCLEAR STRIKE.
The end of was one of 24’s fabulous endings. Who saw that coming? And what is the pres thinking? I think he’s gone crazy. Anyways, I don’t watch previews b/c they always reveille too much. But I hope next week’s is good again.
Still missing Heroes on Mondays, but the season finale for Prison Break should compensate for that.
Prison Break- Michael has to save Lincoln….Kellerman is clearing Sara’s name….T-Bag is caught….Bellick is in prison…..Sucre has to save Maricruz…..Lots of stuff to be resolved in this finale. I’m looking forward to it, seeing as I’ve been with the show since the beginning.
24- I think I remember something involving Jack interrogating Gredenko….honestly, I need to stop watching the previews. Of course, I never can remember them until the next week’s episode starts. I’m hoping for some major revelation, but I wouldn’t count on it.
So tonight has a couple of decent offerings….On another note, I really miss weekly installments of Heroes.
Prison Break-“Fin del Camino”- Sara is apparently already on trial, and I have the feeling she’ll be placed into prison…An interesting premise would be to see how she gets out, and how/if Michael would be able to help in any way. Michael is also on the lookout for T-Bag. It’s clear he’s not happy that he got him out, and he seems to feel responsible for all his mayhem. I’d be surprised if T-Bag was caught, killed, or anywhere in between, considering he’s a highlight of the show…even though he’s crazy. Anything’s better than Haywire, in my opinion.
24-8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.-I’m hearing there’s yet another mole in CTU….I would think it’d be way too obvious if it was the new leader of field ops, whose name I’m blanking on, or Nadia (who hasn’t done ANYTHING, so it shouldn’t be her). I think it’d be a huge surprise if Buchanan was a mole, but considering he’s one of my favorite characters, I’d hope not. We may not even find out tonight….I’m thinking accusations will fly though. I’m wondering what choices the Vice-President makes tonight too…..We’ll see.
::sigh:: No Heroes……At least The Office returns next week. That’s a relief.
Tonight is somewhat back to form, considering Prison Break is back on.
Prison Break- Last we saw, wasn’t President Reynolds stepping down as President? Seems like it’s been awhile since it was on, but I think it was a mere 2 weeks ago. I hear Sara may turn herself in to help Michael and Lincoln….Say it isn’t so!
24- Tonight should be a highly action-packed episode, as the Russian contingent attempts to launch a drone carrying one of the nuclear suitcases….of course, who knows what will happen with that eerily suspicious vice-president at the helm. I’ll catch this one tomorrow night, so no spoilers for me!
Geez….I really miss Heroes!
I apologize for the lack of a Sunday Night TV Preview…There was The Amazing Race, which was entertaining, yet disappointing who came in last….Apparently while sitting at those tasks for hours when they are confused, even if the clue tells them that spelling counts, they never think to double check at least once. How did Rob or Amber not check “The Phillipines”….they deserved to be eliminated if they didn’t catch that. Battlestar is still on the Tivo….it wasn’t all that exciting while I was watching, but I was pretty distracted while searching for apartments online…..Anyway, let’s get to it!
24-At least I’m forgetting what’s in the previews, because they always seem to spoil a lot. Last we saw, wasn’t that one Russian guard shot before he could talk to CTU? I think we get a visit to the ex-Mrs. Logan tonight. Other than that, should be an entertaining hour….as always!
Prison Break– On a break…no new episode this week!
The Riches– I saw a preview for this one, and never got a chance to watch the pilot online. Still, I’m intrigued. It’s not like I need another TV show to watch, do I? Sure….there’s always room.
Here’s a description of the pilot, courtesy of Zap2it
This new FX dramedy, created by playwright Dmitry Lipkin, follows the exploits of Wayne (actor/comedian Eddie Izzard) and Dahlia (Minnie Driver, “Will & Grace”) Malloy and their children Cael (Noel Fisher), Dehliah (Shannon Woodward) and Sam (Aidan Mitchell). The Malloys are a family of gypsy travelers, conning unsuspecting “buffers” (their term for ordinary, law-abiding citizens) out of money while driving the country in their beat-up RV. But when their RV runs a car off the road — killing its occupants — Wayne senses a golden opportunity; soon, the Malloys adopt the persona of the deceased couple (attorney Doug Rich and his wife Cherien), move with the kids into a fancy gated community and start a con like none they’ve ever pulled.
That’s it folks…..at least March Madness should fill some of the voids of this current repeat and showless time! I just realized, no Survivor this week…or next! What to do?!
