Here’s what’s on tap for tonight:
Friday Night Lights-“Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes”: Since I’m not caught up yet, I’ve read the description. Coach Taylor considers accepting a position at Texas Methodist, and his daughter expresses how she wants to stay right where they are. Watch this show already, if you’re not. I’m still not sure how official it is for Season 2. Expect an update when available.
Lost- “The Man From Tallahassee”- We’ll finally figure out why Locke was in the wheelchair in this Locke-centric installment. I’m hoping for some interaction with Jack and seeing why he seemed to be enjoying himself so much while playing football in the Others’ camp. Should be good….Season 3 is starting to pick up some steam! Look for a review later.
Survivor: Fiji- Fairly sure we get either a merger or two new teams tonight. There’s supposedly some twist, but odds are I’ll have figured it out before Probst says what happens. All I know is Rocky picks Dreamz to be on his team….Who saw that coming? Hopefully Dreamz takes on the losing qualities of Rocky’s team, and gets eliminated already.
Anything else I should be watching? Comments? Leave ’em.
And go watch the Pirates 3 trailer if you haven’t already.
Tonight is somewhat back to form, considering Prison Break is back on.
Prison Break- Last we saw, wasn’t President Reynolds stepping down as President? Seems like it’s been awhile since it was on, but I think it was a mere 2 weeks ago. I hear Sara may turn herself in to help Michael and Lincoln….Say it isn’t so!
24- Tonight should be a highly action-packed episode, as the Russian contingent attempts to launch a drone carrying one of the nuclear suitcases….of course, who knows what will happen with that eerily suspicious vice-president at the helm. I’ll catch this one tomorrow night, so no spoilers for me!
Geez….I really miss Heroes!
Tonight for me consists of the lone episode of Lost. It’s Claire-centric.
Lost-“Par Avion” I hear this time around Claire concocts some plan to get off the island, but Charlie interferes and goes into freak out mode. We’ll see….. I swear if he says the words “where’s the baby?” in any form, I’ll go crazy. On the other side of the island, Sayid and Locke apparently won’t be getting along…probably it will consist of Sayid calling Locke an idiot for entering 77 and making the communication dish explode, and Locke fighting back by saying the island told him to do it. Either way, I did hear that there may be some big reveal about the Russian (“eyepatch”). I might totally be imagining I heard it though.
Check my other post about Ask Ausiello, because he has some good scoop about the episodes coming up in the next couple weeks.
I apologize for the lack of a Sunday Night TV Preview…There was The Amazing Race, which was entertaining, yet disappointing who came in last….Apparently while sitting at those tasks for hours when they are confused, even if the clue tells them that spelling counts, they never think to double check at least once. How did Rob or Amber not check “The Phillipines”….they deserved to be eliminated if they didn’t catch that. Battlestar is still on the Tivo….it wasn’t all that exciting while I was watching, but I was pretty distracted while searching for apartments online…..Anyway, let’s get to it!
24-At least I’m forgetting what’s in the previews, because they always seem to spoil a lot. Last we saw, wasn’t that one Russian guard shot before he could talk to CTU? I think we get a visit to the ex-Mrs. Logan tonight. Other than that, should be an entertaining hour….as always!
Prison Break– On a break…no new episode this week!
The Riches– I saw a preview for this one, and never got a chance to watch the pilot online. Still, I’m intrigued. It’s not like I need another TV show to watch, do I? Sure….there’s always room.
Here’s a description of the pilot, courtesy of Zap2it
This new FX dramedy, created by playwright Dmitry Lipkin, follows the exploits of Wayne (actor/comedian Eddie Izzard) and Dahlia (Minnie Driver, “Will & Grace”) Malloy and their children Cael (Noel Fisher), Dehliah (Shannon Woodward) and Sam (Aidan Mitchell). The Malloys are a family of gypsy travelers, conning unsuspecting “buffers” (their term for ordinary, law-abiding citizens) out of money while driving the country in their beat-up RV. But when their RV runs a car off the road — killing its occupants — Wayne senses a golden opportunity; soon, the Malloys adopt the persona of the deceased couple (attorney Doug Rich and his wife Cherien), move with the kids into a fancy gated community and start a con like none they’ve ever pulled.
That’s it folks…..at least March Madness should fill some of the voids of this current repeat and showless time! I just realized, no Survivor this week…or next! What to do?!
So tonight, not much going on, since we’re in repeat season….
Survivor: Fiji– Tonight looks to begin the crumbling of Moto, and after all their domination and thinking they’re better than everyone, I think they’ve had it coming. Ravu is probably on the rebound, and I’m glad. There’s also that looming showdown between Rocky and Dreamz, and that’s probably what I’m looking forward to most. Someone needs to make Dreamz realize what game he’s playing…and that he needs to just shut his mouth every once in a while.
Repeats for The Office and Grey’s….Sadness. Heroes has gone on break too……Man, the shows start dropping like flies come March…..
So tonight is a decent night. I’m really looking foward to seeing what questions may potentially answered on Lost tonight (Eye-patch is back!).
Lost–Enter 77– Tonight, by the looks of the preview, should bring us some answers about the mysterious character we saw on the screen wearing an eyepatch…what seems like forever ago. It’s a Sayid-centric episode, and I think I typically like those since Sayid is one of my favorite characters…His mannerisms when he talks, though an attempt at seeming intelligent and “I’m smarter than you”-like, are usually funny. I hear they visit a mysterious structure on the island where this guy is, and my gut tells me it’s another one of those mysterious buildings that was on that map Locke saw last season in “Lockdown”. There’s also a makeshift ping-pong tournament, presumably Sawyer making a bet to win back his belongings……He’ll probably win, considering Jack isn’t around right now.
That’s all for me…..though I think Road Rules and Real World are on tonight. Yeah…they’re crap, but for some reason I still manage to watch.
Time to check out the scoop from Ask Ausiello. Look for the promo I posted for tonight’s Lost episode a couple pages back….
So it’s another busy night in TV-land….probably the last busy Monday for awhile now….
Here we go.
Prison Break– I’m thinking we’ll see what happens with Kellerman and the President. I also sense a looming showdown between Michael and said President. She hasn’t shown her face on the show since season 1, so it’ll be interesting to see if she still has the same edge to her character. I wouldn’t mind a little more interaction between Sara and Michael….seems like they’ve hardly spoken since the sweeps episode on the train.
24-It’ll be interesting to see where this one heads, after that attempt on the life of the President. I think he’ll survive, but I’m sensing Hassad will turn evil in the coming episodes…The guy has literally done nothing since the beginning of the season….same goes for the girl at CTU….I don’t remember her name….Oh…probably because she does nothing but tell people she can’t log in or the servers are screwed up.
Heroes– My fave of the night….I hear there’s a new hero coming in. I won’t reveal now, but I’m pretty sure I know her powers, and if you’ve been reading most of the articles about the show, they probably already revealed it at some point. Linderman should also finally pop up. At least one thing’s for sure. Peter will be in this episode…and Hiro better find the stinkin’ sword already! Don’t miss the Spiderman 3 preview during (or probably after) the show.
Look for recaps after the shows.
