The second season of Prison Break will go on sale August 21st….
Honestly, I’m quite excited to see how it runs together upon second viewing. I’m actually bummed it comes out so late.
That date will probably overlap really closely with the season premiere, if they stick to premiering earlier than everyone else.
Let me start off by saying this season finale for Prison Break far outranks last season’s weak ending. Who would have thought they could weave it all together and leave it open for what is now a very anticipated season 3 for me.
- Glad T-Bag got his due, and looks to be stuck in the slammer in Panama for awhile…..Odds are he’ll get out, but I’m sure he’ll be put through alot before then.
- That setup where the scientists (or whatever they are) say breaking out again is exactly what the want Michael to do. It’s almost like they are the Others, only Fox’s version….What do they want him out for?!
- The twists and the turns…..I thought Kellerman was on the good…turns out he still is a little conniving. My only question, was he killed, or did those shotguns all miss him. Somehow, seeing as he’s been cast in the Grey’s spinoff, I think poor Kellerman will bite the dust. But….I am intrigued.
- Also….how about the demise of Bill Kim…..I didn’t like him much, and kind of saw the shot from Sara getting him
The Not so Good:
- The overall creepiness. Not really bad….I just know I never want to be stuck in a Panamanian prison, or wherever the heck they are now.
- So is all that money just sitting at the bottom of that pond?
No complaints really….
I’m intrigued to see where this goes, and I’m glad the finale lived up to the hype I’ve given it. All of the 3 previous episodes felt like finales, and that is good, because Prison Break seemed to have dipped a little in the middle.
All I know is…..I’m ready for August…..and Season 3 (a full season!)
Still missing Heroes on Mondays, but the season finale for Prison Break should compensate for that.
Prison Break- Michael has to save Lincoln….Kellerman is clearing Sara’s name….T-Bag is caught….Bellick is in prison…..Sucre has to save Maricruz…..Lots of stuff to be resolved in this finale. I’m looking forward to it, seeing as I’ve been with the show since the beginning.
24- I think I remember something involving Jack interrogating Gredenko….honestly, I need to stop watching the previews. Of course, I never can remember them until the next week’s episode starts. I’m hoping for some major revelation, but I wouldn’t count on it.
So this episode was again particularly satisfying. Things are shaping up for a decent finale.
Bellick, Michael and Sucre team up, all with different motives, to try and catch T-Bag, only to be swindled into a trap. I thought it was a nifty set up that T-Bag pulled off, but they sure didn’t seem too concerned about the cops barging in on them. And Bellick winds up with a bullet in his leg, preventing him from getting away. Apparently the Panamanian police didn’t see the group of fugitives leaving the crime scene.
Alas, Bellick is behind bars again…only this time in a Panama prison.
T-Bag didn’t slip away for long, and ends up in a showdown with Michael. There were plenty of great T-Bag quotes that I found funny…..the quip about getting his legs tattooed was up there with the Sawyer line about Nikki in Lost.
Linc manages to get beat by Mahone, leaving an interesting setup for the final episode of Season 2. It’ll be interesting to see if Mahone makes a break for it in Michael’s boat or not. I was glad that they set up Mahone as still caring about his family back home. He really is a good character, no matter how bad he has turned out.
I also almost forgot about Kellerman….I’m surprised he didn’t bite the bullet, literally, this time around. I think his fate is sealed, considering he’s making his way to the Grey’s spinoff. I’m glad to see he is helping Sara out by testifying to her claims about the conspiracy….If he follows through with it…..That’s another question.
So tonight has a couple of decent offerings….On another note, I really miss weekly installments of Heroes.
Prison Break-“Fin del Camino”- Sara is apparently already on trial, and I have the feeling she’ll be placed into prison…An interesting premise would be to see how she gets out, and how/if Michael would be able to help in any way. Michael is also on the lookout for T-Bag. It’s clear he’s not happy that he got him out, and he seems to feel responsible for all his mayhem. I’d be surprised if T-Bag was caught, killed, or anywhere in between, considering he’s a highlight of the show…even though he’s crazy. Anything’s better than Haywire, in my opinion.
24-8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.-I’m hearing there’s yet another mole in CTU….I would think it’d be way too obvious if it was the new leader of field ops, whose name I’m blanking on, or Nadia (who hasn’t done ANYTHING, so it shouldn’t be her). I think it’d be a huge surprise if Buchanan was a mole, but considering he’s one of my favorite characters, I’d hope not. We may not even find out tonight….I’m thinking accusations will fly though. I’m wondering what choices the Vice-President makes tonight too…..We’ll see.
::sigh:: No Heroes……At least The Office returns next week. That’s a relief.
Tonight is somewhat back to form, considering Prison Break is back on.
Prison Break- Last we saw, wasn’t President Reynolds stepping down as President? Seems like it’s been awhile since it was on, but I think it was a mere 2 weeks ago. I hear Sara may turn herself in to help Michael and Lincoln….Say it isn’t so!
24- Tonight should be a highly action-packed episode, as the Russian contingent attempts to launch a drone carrying one of the nuclear suitcases….of course, who knows what will happen with that eerily suspicious vice-president at the helm. I’ll catch this one tomorrow night, so no spoilers for me!
Geez….I really miss Heroes!
So apparently it’s the week where everybody decides they want in on the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff.Wasn’t it just like a week ago they were talking about Taye Diggs being on it….. Now there’s a boatload of people aboard the project.
I don’t know about everyone else who watched Prison Break, but I think his casting in this pilot seals his fate as Kellerman. Just a guess…I have no confirmation of that.
Somehow, I think this show will be doing just fine……it’s too bad they’ve decide to go the CSI route with it. Hopefully this is the one and only spinoff it gets.
