Seems like I’ve been counting down to tonight’s Lost finale for months…at least since I heard about this “game-changing” cliffhanger, which is now a common term thrown around in all the magazines.
I’m excited to see what they’ve got up their sleeves, because if they over-promise and under-deliver, similar to what they did last year (which was good, don’t get me wrong, but was way overhyped), I’ll be angry.
I think I’ve prepared myself by lowering the bar just a little (not much!), but after this week’s boring 24 finale, I need a boost. Heroes was good, not great, so I’m not riding super high right now.
Hopefully that changes this evening.
E! has some possible scoop on what’s in store for Lost at the ABC upfront presentations…
The list is as follows:
- Lost will probably shift back to an earlier time slot….Not a huge deal, but I’m hoping (along with ABC execs) that this will boost viewership, because if I’m thinking right, viewers on the East and West coast have to stay up until 11:00 p.m. just to catch their weekly dose…..Too late if you ask me…
- Lost is going to be back in January of 2008, allowing for a straight run through of all the new episodes, similar to 24…again, good news……The idea they had for this season was a start in the right direction, but the weak cliffhanger and even worse episodes were a major letdown and killed the momentum the show had built up……I’m all for running all 22 episodes in a row…
- Lost will end after two more seasons…..this is both good and bad….First, I don’t know how I’ll survive Wednesdays without Lost…it’s easily still one of my top shows, despite it’s lagging quality at points….This is good though, because as they mention at E!, it will force the producers to stick to a timetable on all the questions (and there’s alot!) they have left to reveal.
I’m also really psyched for this seasons “game-changing” season cliffhanger…hopefully it’s not as underwhelming as last year. They teased it like crazy last year, and it didn’t live up to my expectations.
Here’s the promo for tomorrow’s Lost….I’m hoping to rebound after last weeks Desmond-centric episode.
I’m not going to write a full review for tonight’s episode…Honestly, I think I’ll have to watch it over to catch everything again.
I’ve been disappointed by the Desmond episodes….they always seem to be highly dramatic, but don’t really provide any results…They should take some cues from last week’s Juliet-centric outing….That was good TV!
Let’s see if the audience embraces the new addition to the cast a little better than Nikki and Paolo….I think that may be tough to come by…..
I’m waiting for another “WOW” moment, and it sounds like in the coming weeks there will be one….It’s just a matter of when.
I’m totally psyched to see the Ben flashback. I think that’s 3 weeks away…..that’ll be a good one.
TV Addict has some pictures up from the upcoming two-part Grey’s Anatomy episode.
Honestly, it has a much different look than I expected……I’m not as confident that it will work as well as Grey’s has, but I think it’s a pretty sure bet that it will at least get a few lookers from Grey’s to follow it.
Check out the pictures via the link below and see what you think…..Will Addison make it on her own?

So I just read some news regarding the line up for the rest of this season’s Lost episodes.
I had heard that Jack was going to be the flashback for the final 2-hour finale, but he was also slated for another episode as well. Apparently that has changed again, and the change is indeed an intriguing one.
Episode 3.19 is going to be the first flashback-free episode of Lost ever….And there’s also going to be a flashback for one of my favorite new characters sooner than expected
To avoid any spoilers, I’ll stop there….
Check out the scoop for yourself. I’m just intrigued to see how this episode without flashbacks compares to all the others….Could it convince them to use the flashbacks more sparingly? Who knows?
