Indiana Jones 4 possibly delayed?!

with one comment

If this tip is correct, I will be severely disappointed in Harrison Ford…..

According to the tip, Harrison Ford is scheduled to lead a new “immigration drama” called Crossing Over, which starts filming this month.  Apparently it was just announced.

I seriously doubt that Harrison’s people, or George Lucas or Steven Spielberg would seriously approve of this, so I have to question the possibility of it pushing back the start date.  Clearly, Indy 4 should be a much bigger priority for Harrison Ford considering all of his flops lately.

We’ll see if this pans out or not….but for the sake of Indiana Jones 4 coming out on time next summer, I hope it’s not true.

Indiana Jones Trailer coming this Thanksgiving

leave a comment »

Tip from my morning reads talks about an article in the USA Today.

It’s nice to hear that filming hasn’t even started and George Lucas can guarantee us an Indiana Jones trailer for this Thanksgiving.

Honestly, I think it’s going to be surreal to see what goes on in an Indiana Jones film after an 18-year break.  I grew up with an Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade VHS tape, and it’s easily one of my favorite films.  I like movies that can find the perfect mix of comedy, action and drama….Always entertaining.  I just hope this one lives up to all the hype they’re giving it, because they certainly have delayed and re-delayed enough.

Now….if only they’d get Sean Connery back on officially, because he is definitely engrained in the minds of fans as Indy’s father.

I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving even more now.

A possible Indy 4 title?

with 2 comments

I was snooping around my daily news sites, and came across an interesting tidbit I hadn’t heard about yet.

Apparently the latest Indiana Jones adventure will be called Indiana Jones and the City of Gods.

I’d approve of that….it’s better than Indiana Jones and the Opal of Destiny or whatever the heck they were calling it before.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still looking forward to Indiana Jones 4

Shia LaBeouf in final talks for Indy 4

with one comment

This bit of news still irks me slightly…We’ll see how Shia LaBeouf does in Transformers this summer before I totally decide I don’t like that he’s in this.

I just don’t buy him as Indiana Jones’ son….Let’s see how he looks in the fedora first.

Indiana Jones Screenings….Wish they’d come to my town.

leave a comment »

In all the hype surrounding the upcoming Indiana Jones sequel, it makes me realize that I’ve never actually seen one of the movies in the theatres. I saw Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, along with both other films, on videotape. Being that I was 5 when Crusade was in theatres, and the others came out before that, I really wish I could get a chance to see them on the big screen.

I found a list here, but it mainly sticks to larger areas.

One of these days before the release of Indy 4, maybe I’ll be lucky enough to catch a showing of the Indiana Jones marathon…in a theatre.
