Save Friday Night Lights!!

with 2 comments

I’ve started catching up on Friday Night Lights on NBC.com, since they finally posted all the episodes….or they may have already been there, and I didn’t see the links.

Anyway….if you haven’t yet heard, the show is in danger of being canceled by the network.  It’s been getting great reviews, but it goes up against American Idol, and isn’t getting the amount of viewers that are needed to keep it around.

I urge anyone and everyone to go to NBC.com and watch the first episode (or three….) and I can pretty much guarantee you will realize it’s a show that’s worthy of being around for a second season.  Writing, acting, photography…..they don’t get much better than under the Friday Night Lights.

Friday Night Lights airs at 8/7c on NBC!

  2. I am another lover of “Friday Night Lights” and so is my husband, Bob. We both look forward to every new episode, and when it is over, we both are left wanting more.

We love the way they introduce you to each character and the more you get to know the character, the more you love them, the good and the bad in them all.

We will miss those characters that move on, but we know we will get to know new characters each season in the same way. This will keep the show fresh and more interesting as each season comes and goes. Kudos to the Casting Director who has made marvelous decisions for this great show.

Of course, it goes without saying that the show is made up of great actors and actresses. Starting with Kyle Chandler aka Coach Taylor, Connie Britton, and so many more.

Lights will always be on at our house. We do have DirectTV, but that won’t stop us from watching again on NBC.

    You gotta love it,
    Jayne
