Remember that post I had a couple weeks back from FirstShowing.net that had Optimus Prime speaking?

I’m happy to report that at Michael Bay’s official hompage, they’ve confirmed that the shot was just a test shot, and it wasn’t Peter Cullen speaking either….I did think the voice was particularly low-pitched….

And the lips on Prime….I’m hoping those were just part of the “test” also…because that was just weird.

Below I’ve embedded the two new TV spots that have been playing on various networks over the past couple of days.

Honestly, the photos that were release yesterday piqued my interest even more than these phenonmenal spots!

Transformers has just officially become my most anticipated movie of the summer….Thanks to the picture below. A full-on view of Optimus Prime fighting a Decepticon called “Bonecrusher” in the middle of a freeway.

Seriously….I haven’t been this psyched in awhile.

I’ve gotten alot more excited than I already was for Transformers coming out this summer. One reason to like the director, Michael Bay, if you don’t already, is the fact that he and the producers are purposefully avoiding revealing completely all of the robots from the movie.

I like this approach, because it sure seems like lots of trailers give away a great deal before you even head to the theatre…::coughSpiderman3cough::

After the release of these latest one sheets for Transformers, I think I can officially say I’m psyched to see Optimus Prime in action…..seriously, sweetness. The second one is Megatron.

Apparently these guys are going to show up in USA Today, tomorrow.
